Fiber Optics Institute combines the convenience of on-line
learning with a one-day "Certification Lab"
that provides the practical experience with fiber optic
components, tools, and testers you will need to become
a proficient fiber optic technician.
Combining
highly knowledgeable professional instructors with multimedia
presentations and a wide variety of fiber optic equipment,
the "Certification Lab" provides a complete
and practical fiber optic training experience.
You

This in-person training will build upon all of the knowledge
you have gained by completing the FOI on-line course,
at a cost far below other fiber optic schools.
Salespeople,
project managers, and non-technicians can take the on-line
course only, and receive a working knowledge of fiber
optic systems, components, and installation. Technicians
will want to attend the "Certification Lab"
to become confident and competent in their fiber optic
hands-on skills.
 After
attending the "Certification Lab", you can
complete a comprehensive written test, and become certified
as an "Optical Fiber Technician" by the Fiber
Optic Association.
Certification
Labs are held regularly in Chicago, Illinois and around
