An independent committee of physical security professionals, including educators, manufacturers, and security dealers has created the Electronic Security Networking Technician (ESNT) certification program.  The "Competency Requirements" and written test are approved and administered by the Electronics Technicians Association.

The ESNT training and certification testing program is a comprehensive course of study that provides all necessary information for security industry technicians so that they are knowledgeable and competent in the programming, installation, testing and troubleshooting of IP-enabled physical security devices such as network cameras, access control panels, and intercoms.
